Overalls Weekly – 02/14/2019

Tonight is our last free square dancing “testdrive”.  We hope you enjoyed dipping your toes into square dancing and that you will continue with our new dancer class.  The actual new dancer class starts next Thursday, February 21st.  We hope you will join us for the fun.  To join our new dancer class see Suzie at the welcome table or any club officer to make your payment for the class.  For a schedule of fees make sure to ask for our flyer at the welcome table.

We will still except new class members next week but after that the class will be closed so we can move on with the class.  This is a great opportunity to invite your family, friends and neighbors who were not able to start in September.  Please help us get the word out. For a copy of our flyer click: Overalls New Dancer Class.

We still have one of our banners being held hostage. The Diamond Dancers in Galt have our banner and we need to get it back!  Please join Carol and me as we travel to get our banner back this coming Monday at the Diamond Dancers Presidents Day Dinner Dance. Dinner begins at 6:00 pm followed by square/round dancing from 7:00 pm – 10:00 pm.  Please join us and let me know you are going.  I hope to see you there.

Our next dance is our Sweetheart Dance.  The dance will be here at Royer Park on Saturday, February 23rd.  Jet Roberts will be calling European style (Sept. New Dancer/Easy Plus/Tough Plus) non-stop.  Pre-rounds from 7:00 – 8:00 pm followed by square dancing 8:00 – 10:30 pm.  We will have a sign-up sheet available soon.

Hi All,

Most of you know, Katie & I are planning a trip to Scandinavia for around June 1st of 2020.  We are going with a travel company called Outdoor Adventure Travel (OAT), and this will be our second trip with them.  We have room for about 12 more people in our group.  Flyers are available upon request and you can get more details on their website (www.oattravel.com/SCN19).  OAT has extended the deadline for the trip price protection until Jan 15, 2019.  For a copy of the flyer click: Cruising with Scott & Katie.

Let us know if you are interested in this trip, or if you would like additional information.
